Biography
Active on the New York jazz scene since 2008, pianist and composer Sebastien Ammann has established a highly distinctive musical identity. Praised by international critics for neatly blurring the lines between improvisation and composition, he leads several acclaimed projects, including the Sebastien Ammann Quartet and the Gaia Quartet. A highly sought-after sideman and dedicated educator on faculty at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Ammann has performed at major venues and festivals across the USA and Europe, sharing the stage with a diverse array of renowned jazz artists.
