TRADITIONAL JAZZ
Stéphane Séva
Stéphane Séva, a new-generation singer, drummer, percussionist, and washboard player, began his musical career alongside his father, playing the washboard in a traditional jazz marching band. He later perfected his craft in Paris with the renowned American jazz vocalist Sarah Lazarus. Today, Stéphane performs regularly with the famous Paris Washboard and spends much of his time in New York City, sharing the stage with numerous international stars.
For this special edition of Rive Jazzy, Stéphane Séva, backed by a stellar rhythm section, will deliver two distinct repertoires: a first jazz set centered on the washboard featuring Thomas Winteler on clarinet and soprano saxophone, followed by a second set paying a vibrant tribute to Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles.
