On the Rive Jazzy stage, the Orchestre Siga Volando delivered a vintage salsa that sparked an irresistible urge to dance. Their repertoire immersed the audience in the history of Cuban music, exploring the very roots of salsa. Spectators enjoyed the unique sound of a band reminiscent of traditional charangas (featuring violins and a flute) and were swept away by the charm and captivating voice of the great Cuban singer, Susana Orta.

Always keen to reinvent themselves and offer a varied program to the Rive Jazzy audience, the Newcastle Jazz Band drew their repertoire from the All Stars registry of the great Louis Armstrong, smoothly transitioning into themes paying tribute to the unforgettable Sidney Bechet or the genius of Duke Ellington.

Spirit of Soul took the Rive Jazzy audience on a journey to the very roots of American music. Blending deep blues, captivating soul, and high-energy rhythm'n'blues, the band delivered a rich repertoire of original tracks alongside vibrant covers of legends like BB King, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Duke Robillard. It was a performance defined by soulful ballads and powerful grooves.
