Active since 1990 on Swiss and international stages, this traditional jazz ensemble from Gruyères has made their motto—"friendship, humor, and musicality"—the secret to their longevity. Backed by decades of experience and three albums, their performance delivered a festive concert and a generous repertoire full of joyful surprises.

• Place de Savoie
This Quartet, composed of seasoned professionals with a strong musical bond, treated the audience to wonderful improvisations on traditional jazz standards. The presence of Thomas Winteler—who also happens to be the long-standing musical programmer for Rive Jazzy—naturally gave the concert a distinct Bechet-inspired hue. On clarinet and soprano saxophone, he once again proved how deeply he has absorbed the spirit and musicality of Sidney Bechet.
